I Don't Like (The New Librarian)
Mr. Forbes, Bobby Sheehan and Josh Faas
Performed by SP Music

[scene opens with two male students entering the public library, as they browse the stacks while ominous music plays]
[cut to the two students sitting down at a table, one reading Arthur Ciaramicoli's "The Power of Empathy" while the other reads Linda Richman's "I'd Rather Laugh"]
[cut to another shot of the two reading, when a young female librarian (long blonde hair, pink blouse, white pants) walks over a shushes them loudly]
LIBRARIAN: Shh!
[she then takes a book and hits one of them in the back of the head, as he falls over (and she just calmly walks away)]
[cut to a shot of the two students looking at each other (as guitar music plays) and they begin singing]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian, I think she's got to go!
[cut to the librarian walking through the stacks (as she gives the camera an evil look), then back to the students]
STUDENTS: Lately she's been scoping me out ... and always looking at my work!
[cut to the students playing guitar in their backyard]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian, always bringing me down! Books fall off the shelf when she's near, she makes me run away in fear!
[cut to a closeup of the librarian's face, as she walks through the library]
STUDENT 1: [in voice over] Here she comes!
STUDENT 2: [in voice over] Ow!
[cut back to the students playing guitar]
STUDENT 1: [in voice over] I can't stand her!
STUDENT 2: [in voice over] Naw, me neither!
[cut back to the librarian, as she climbs up on a table, then turns to the camera and puts a finger to her lips]
LIBRARIAN: Shh!
[cut back to the students playing guitar]
STUDENT 1: [in voice over] I swear I didn't do it!
STUDENT 2: [in voice over] I didn't, I didn't do nuthin'!
[cut to black and white footage of the students in the library]
STUDENT 1: [in voice over] Go away, new librarian!
STUDENT 2: [in voice over] Yeah!
STUDENT 1: [in voice over] We, we don't like you! We don't need you!
STUDENT 2: [in voice over] We don't like you!
[cut back to the students playing guitar]
STUDENTS: Oh boy, here she comes! I think I can smell her! Oh, why does she look like any other guy? Oh, why?
[cut to the students in the library, as they're each covering their face with a book ("Popular Mechanics Do-It-Yourself Yearbook 1979" and "Popular Mechanics Do-It-Yourself Encyclopedia"), which they lower as they stare into the camera]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian, I think she's got to go!
[cut back to the students playing guitar]
STUDENTS: Lately she's been scoping me out ... and always looking at my work!
[cut back to the students in the library]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian, always bringing me down!
[cut to the librarian reading Dr. Phil's "Self Matters", as a book on the nearby shelf suddenly falls to the ground by itself (causing her to smile)]
STUDENTS: [in voice over] Books fall off the shelf when she's near ...
[cut back to the students playing guitar]
STUDENTS: She makes me run away in fear!
[cut back to the students in the library]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian!
[cut back to the student playing guitar]
STUDENTS: I don't like the new librarian! I don't like the new librarian! I don't like the new librarian!
