Case Study No. 0379: "Alice in Wonderland"

Alice in wonderland: Growing up (from the 1976 x-rated musical)
3:32
A lovely song from 'Alice in wonderland: an x-rated musical'
WARNING IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE: This clip is from a pornographic musical!
I've only been able to find the triple x-rated version, if you want to see it, beware that it's a porn movie!
But if you do, it's worth a watch, the old-school music is really fun, and it's easy to skip the pornographic parts if you don't want to watch that stuff. Though, as one might expect, it's a mind-fuck of epic proportions xD

[Alice (a young blonde with her hair in a bun and wearing a blue dress) is by herself, working in the library]
ALICE: [to herself] Maybe I am missing something ... Could it be that important?
[she sits down at her desk]
ALICE: [to herself] I'd better get back to work ...
[she begins placing cards into books, when she stops at a copy of "Alice in Wonderland"]
ALICE: [to herself] That's funny. I never read this when I was a little girl ...
[she gets a sad look on her face]
ALICE: I missed so much ... Just about everything.
[she continues working on her stack of books, but begins to sing]

Guess I was too busy growing up
Never took the time to read a nursery rhyme
Never played at patty cake
Kicked a can or caught a snake
Guess I was too busy growing up
Never told a silly little lie
Never had a doll or castles in the sky
Why I never saw a rainbow's end
Watched the river round the bend
I guess I was too busy growing up

[she gets up and begins shelving books]

But the world can be young and alive
Anytime of your life
For youth is never wasted if you're young at heart
So take the time to start
To live
I wanna live

[she sits back down and puts her feet up on the desk, then lets her hair down and begins dancing around the library]

Today I feel so good
I'm growing up
Supercalifragilistics make me smile
The looking glass in front of me
Tells this kid she's only three

[she looks at herself in a mirror on the wall, then stops]
ALICE: Gee, I wonder if I could grow up all over again ... Giant redwoods don't reach maturity for at least five hundred years. Hmm, I don't think I could wait that long, but maybe I could crowd the next five hundred years into the next few.
[she gets a determined look on her face]
ALICE: Sure, I could grow up all over again! I can at least try!
[she begins singing again]

It's super duper peachy cream
To wake up and still live your dream
Gee, it feels so good
To be growing up

From wikipedia.org:

Alice in Wonderland (sometimes listed as Alice in Wonderland: An X-Rated Musical Comedy) is a 1976 pornographic musical film, loosely based on Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It was directed by Bud Townsend and starred Terri Hall, Bree Anthony, and Kristine DeBell. The theatrical release of the film was on December 10, 1976 in the USA.

The film initially received an X-rating in 1976 and subsequently, an R-rating a year later with three minutes cut from the film. It was later re-released on VHS with a somewhat grandiose title roll preceding the movie noting that quite a bit of hardcore footage had originally been shot, but "could not be included" at the time. Several reviews opine that the added material actually makes the movie less enjoyable by dragging down its pacing. It has also been re-released on DVD, though whether this release is official, and which source material it was made from, is unclear.

Alice (Kristine DeBell) offends her would-be lover William (Ron Nelson) by rejecting his advances. Upset, she falls asleep reading Alice in Wonderland. The white rabbit (Larry Gelman) appears to her in a dream and takes her into a sexual wonderland. The story loosely follows Carroll's original plot, and includes many of his characters, but with considerable sexual license.

From byui.edu:

ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1976). In this erotic version of the classic tale, Alice (played by Kristine DeBell) is a prudish, virginal librarian. There are two versions of this film. One is hard-core X-rated; the other is R-rated.
